Describe important and essential functions and associated tasks the position performs. Essential functions are related to the job’s direct contributions to the work unit’s product(s). Please note the approximate percentage of time spent on each function over a year cycle.
When listing position functions, consider the following questions to structure your statements:

• What does the position do?
• For or with whom?
• For what purpose?
• How and with what equipment?

List additional functions and duties the position does that are not directly related to the reason the job exists in the “Other duties as assigned area.”
